Yes, thank you to Hagiwara for this beautiful garden.  Each time I walk by this garden which is very often I intuitively have a sense of such peace and tranquility.  The pagoda is one of the center attractions and displays the architectural genius of the Japanese culture.  It can be seen nestled within lush foliage as you are approaching the garden which is where I snapped this photo.  Rippling ponds adorned with lotus flower, rocks and lanterns are strewn across this intimate setting.  One of my favorite times to visit is in the morning when the fog is starting to clear and the cool mist moistens my face and there is a quiet allure resounding throughout the garden.  It is the perfect place to sit and write.  The meditative energies will awaken and you will be transported into a serene existence of which you will want to remain.

The bridge as you can see is a death defying feat to climb.  I think I’ve only walked that bridge twice.  Guess I need to get in shape for the next attempt.  The Buddha, I can connect with and always love spending some time with him.

There are hundreds of varieties of teas from which you can choose and being able to enjoy your tea in this gorgeous garden is a real treat.  The gift shop houses Japanese arts as well as your typical San Francisco souvenirs.  Japanese Tea Garden is a must if you are ever visiting our fair city.  For more information click on the webpage link .Japanese Tea Garden Webpage
