Writing Contest - Calling All Writers

Hello everyone. This is My City By The Bay writing contest. I plan to have more because I think contests are fun and it’s a great way to get the community together. So, I will be doing this every once and a while. This contest is open to everyone out there and is a writing contest. The guidelines and prizes are mentioned below. If you have any questions at all please let me know.
For all of you writers out there who wish to enter the contest here’s how it works.
Write about the picture you see above. It could be poetry, articles, short stories, essays, haiku or just your thoughts and observations. The style and content is up to you. The contest will run through the end of this month, October 31st. All you need to do is post your entry in a comment, text only copy and paste along with your blog name and url. All participants will be added on my page as contributors so you’ll receive some exposure for you blog. And, the winner will receive the “On A San Francisco High” CD by Sony Holland, there’s a clip of the song on this page, along with a San Francisco souvenir, don’t worry it won’t be one of those cheap key rings, I’ll choose something better and a link to your blog will be featured on this page above my entrecard through the end of the year. So start writing and send me your masterpieces. The winner will be notified on November 1st. Also let all of your blogging buddies know about the contest.

She stared up at the massive structure and imagined what it would feel like to climb to the top. She would climb as high as she could and close her eyes and hold out her arms.
She would let the wind cleanse her soul and carry away all the pain and anger that had been weighing her down.
She would listen to the cries of the gulls and the seals, and her cries would join theirs as she released herself from all that hindered her.
When she was finally cut loose from the heavy burdens, the wind would carry her gently back down to the ground…and she would be free.
