A Walk Along The Pier

Published by jodapoet at 10:35 am under Leisure, San Francisco, Travel Edit This

A walk along the Embarcadero from the Ferry Building to Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf and up to Ghirardelli Square is always alot of fun and great exercise.  I was out there yesterday when the Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building was in full swing.  The public pier is right near the Ferry Building around pier 5 or 7.  It’s a long wooden pier which stretches out to the bay and has some great views of the city.  I shot the photo above which shows the Transamerica/pyramid building in the background and gives you a sampling of the San Francisco skyline.  I will be taking many more pictures in the weeks to come.  The weather yesterday was perfect and without fog so it was a shutterbugs delight.
