The Get The Vote Out Campaign

Published by jodapoet at 11:49 am under San Francisco Edit This

I had to go run an errand earlier today and came across a local polling spot in the neighborhood where the line was literally out the door.  There were dozens of people in line.  I have never seen a turnout like this.  There are also volunteers going door to door making sure that everyone votes.  I’ve lived in this area all of my life and have never seen this buzz for any election.  I vote absentee so I didn’t have to wait in any of these lines.  I can just sit back and watch that map of the US turn blue.  Obama I truly believe will win which means this day is the first day of change.  A change that will help America be all it can be.

yes, it is inspiring to see a lot of younger people right now getting excited to vote and also standing by what they believe in.

    Hopefully, Obama wins.

Obama wins! :) Our thoughts and prayers for him and his family for the loss of his grandmother, who did not see him being elected, but like what you said, his grandmother was happy and proud of him.
