FRIDAY: PROTEST DOWN MARKET ST.
Where: Market Street
When: This Friday from 5:30pm starting on Market and Seventh (Civic Center).
The protest will end in Dolores Park. We will be going down Market from Seventh, continuing onto Castro and turning on 18th Street which will take us to the Park.

Seal rock which is displayed in the above photo I snapped during one of my walks was the original hang out for the sea lions who have since taken up residence at Pier 39. The rocks are located on the northwest shore of ocean beach right below the cliff house of which you can see in the photo. The steep and rocky cliffs along with the smooth sandy makeup at ocean beach are a result of hundreds of years of shifting sand, wind and waves. I took this photo from atop Sutro Park Heights which is located in the outer Richmond district right across the great highway from the Cliff house. It was such a beautiful day with a gorgeous view and the fog just peeking it’s head above the horizon that I of course had to take some photos. I was lucky to be able to get the cliff house and the rocks in one shot. I will have many more posts and photos on this area in the days to come. Enjoy!
