Reflections

It was a cool day in San Francisco with the sun trying to peek through the morning fog so I decided to take a walk through the botanical gardens in Golden Gate Park. I do that often for inspiration and even therapy sometimes. I headed towards my favorite spot in the Japanese gardens and found this serene reflection of the wooden bridge of which I frequent. It was so beautiful to see and I stood there for a while reflecting on family, friends and life in general. When reflecting on life without a beautiful scene such as this before our eyes we tend to focus on the negative rather than the positive. I think that comes from not being in tune with our source or inner self. Yet when in the presence of nature and the sheer beauty it has to offer we look at the world and our lives in a positive scenario because we accept that we are connected to this energy and that nature has bestowed upon us all we need to live and prosper. It is all we need.

Nice picture — I love the way you captured the reflection. I live near the gardens, and go there often — it’s one of my favorite places.
Betchai - I go there to get away from the hustle and bustle.
