Shakespeare Garden

Shakespeare Garden is a hidden jewel amongst the natural landscapes within Golden Gate Park. It is nestled near towering trees adjacent to the California Academy of Sciences building and very near the Botanical Gardens and the Japanese tea garden. I took this photo a few days ago on a warm afternoon. Due to it being November the flower beds have been replaced by greenery but will be peeking through around February. This is a cozy little spot to read, meditate or just enjoy for it’s serene and aesthetic value. During Spring and Summer months you can find many a wedding party enjoying the surroundings as well as people shooting videos and so much more. While there I penned this quick poem
Shakespeare Garden
And the leaves speak
through silent branches
their voices carried
by winds of change.
Mother Earth colors
Autumnal hues
warmly toasted
reflections of the sun.
November noon
debuts a play
where nature’s performance
unfolds seasons.
And the stage is set.
