The San Francisco AIDS Foundation

The San Francisco AIDS Foundation is a charitable organization which provides counseling, housing, medical care and so much more to people suffering from this tragic disease.   It relies on grants and donations to keep its’ programs going in order to benefit the communities here in San Francisco. You can find out more by visiting http://www.sfaf.org

The Richmond Ermet AIDS Foundation is another charitable organization which raises funds on an annual basis through gala night auctions, parties and events to help programs which are geared towards the care of persons suffering with HIV and AIDS.  I’ve had the pleasure the last few years of attending their Help Is On The Way gala night performance and auction.  My dear friend and local jazz singer Sony Holland is a regular performer at their events.  A couple of years ago I also had the pleasure of meeting one of my teenage all time favorite singers, Nancy Sinatra.  The always star studded performers donate their time to this cause and all the proceeds from the events and auctions go towards AIDS programs.  You can find out more by visiting http://www.richmondermet.org

Both of these foundations provide critical help to ailing patients and always need donations to keep going.  Donations not just monetary but your time as well.  There are programs where you can visit patients in the hospital, deliver food to their homes etc… There is always something you can do and it is so important to get involved and help in any way you can.Thank you.
