Bob St. Clair is known for his toughness on the field and raw meat.  As a child he was given raw, warm liver, raw eggs and wheat germ as staples.  He grew to love the food and as a result can eat raw meat without blinking an eye.  The Hall of Famer standing at 6′9″ tall and weighing in at 270 lbs. was the tallest player in the NFL.  He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1953.

He attends all the Niner games and frequents the tail gate parties where he dares fans to take a bite of the raw meat they are barbecuing and if they accept the challenge he awards them with a Bob St. Clair 49er apron.  He does this to support Mike Singletary as he calls “one of us” the tough, mean, macho man who can stomach that raw meat and like it.   He’s a players - player and a true 49er legend.  More in formation on Bob St. Clair can be found by clicking here.

His book “I’ll Take It Raw” can be found on Book Surge.
