Bart Shooting Investigation Complete
BART has concluded it’s investigation into the murder of Oscar Grant by a BART officer. They handed over their conclusions to the district attorney’s office. The district attorney has said that their investigation should be complete by next week. This investigation was concluded without the interview of the cop who has since the shooting, received death threats and has had to move twice. He’s receiving threats to his family, his parents and newborn daughter. 40 people were questioned including other officers on the scene and BART passengers.
What is interesting to me is that right after the BART board concluded it’s investigation the US Justice dept. was called in to keep the peace in Oakland. This is curious because the Justice dept. is neutral on the case and their main job is to help handle the demonstrations and protests. So, this tells me that they know what’s coming and are in town to take care of rioting. It doesn’t look good to me but you never know.
The cop still hasn’t spoken to anyone and refuses to do so.
I’ll keep you all updated.
