Angeline - A Sensual Tribute Poem

A few years ago a friend of mine mentioned a wine that she had tasted somewhere in Sausalito.  She only remembered the name to be Angeline but said the wine was fantastic.  So, I googled and googled some more and found that the wine she experienced was the Angeline family of wines out of Santa Rosa based Martin Ray Winery.

I ordered a bottle directly from the winery and fell in love with the taste.  My friend and I would warmly refer to the wine as “our luscious redhead.”  That gave me the idea for the poem Angeline.  It was the easiest and most fun poem I have ever written.  It was penned in about ten minutes.  It has won awards and been published in various magazines.  I decided it would be fun to create an audio/photo montage with me reading the poem.  Hope you enjoy the video.

Thank you.

I wanted you to know I “tagged” you on Journeys and Adventures the other day. I used it as a way to tell people about myself and some of my travel experiences.
