Bauer’s Limos which is the premier limo service in San Francisco has a new luxury bus available to bay area commuters.  It’s called the Wi-Drive program with buses connecting San Francisco, Marin and San Jose.  The buses are equipped with padded seating, televisions, WiFi and plugins so you can use your laptop.

There will be just a few selected stops on these routes which will be at transportation stations and large companies.  Keeping with the San Francisco commuter ordinance which stipulates that companies of 20 employees or more have to “pitch in” on their employees commute expenses, I’m sure the selected stops will be close to large companies.  The cost for a one way ticket is $8.20 or $7.40 if you buy a monthly pass.  The buses seat 52 passengers.  For an extra fee they also serve coffee and a continental breakfast.

These luxuries don’t surprise me at all given the services and amenities that Bauer’s is known for around the bay area.

For more information visit the Bauer Wi-Drive website.
