Camera Obscura at The Cliff House in San Francisco

Outside View of Camera Obscura @ The Cliff House in San Francisco .

The Camera Obscura or Giant Camera as it is often referred to is located next to the Cliff House in San Francisco.  It is specifically situated so that you can experience seal rock and the ocean at a 360 degree angle.  While the view is spectacular outside the confines of the camera, the view from the camera is surreal to say the least.  It is truly a unique experience and one that you will remember.  It’s almost as if you are looking at the ocean after having a “few too many.”  So, if you have had a few too many, don’t visit the giant camera.

There are also many other things to see while in this area.  Seal Rock, The Cliff House, Sutro Park and a couple of great restaurants as well.  You can peruse the categories on this blog to find more information.
