AT&T Park has become a landmark site in San Francisco. Though I am not a baseball fan, I love this park. I actually go when my friend Sony Holland is performing the National Anthem, which she was there last year on her Birthday. It was an exciting and fun day. I also enjoyed the baseball game even though I really didn’t know what was going on. We did win the game. I have also been known to go for no other reason than just to experience the park.

The park itself has awesome views of the bay and boaters are out in force at McCovey cove in the bay during every game. It was literally a parking lot in the bay when Barry Bonds was out there hitting those home runs. I was lucky enough the last time I went to be seated in the Field Club Level of the stadium. I had no idea what that meant until I arrived. You are basically seated right in front and you are served food. I was in shock. They have menus, you order your food and they bring it out to you. My kinda place. They also have a field club location inside the stadium where there is a high end cafeteria style area where you can choose whatever food you enjoy. There was sushi to Mexican fare and your all American burgers and steaks. I loved it.
There are dozens and dozens of eateries and bars at the ballpark to suit everyone’s taste. When I’m there, I go for the food, the view, the camaraderie and of course I’m always happy when the Giants win.
The AT&T park tour is a daily event and is geared toward the baseball lover. It is a one and a half hour tour of the entire park, inside and out. For more detailed information, click below.

I remember the San Francisco 49er Team of the Eighties as if it were yesterday. The likes of Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Roger Craig, Dwight Hicks and Dwight Clark among others made for an exciting and winning decade. I came across this rap video featuring the 49ers of that era. It brings back so many great memories of the players and they have great voices as well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

That irreverent, wacky and sometimes even serious race that is the Bay To Breakers will be undergoing some major changes this year when it gets underway on May 17th. The city has banned alcohol, nudity and any floats on wheels. Supervisor Mirkarimi who is the supervisor for the panhandle district says these changes need to be made.
Now, we all know that this is not a serious race for 90 percent of the people participating. It’s basically a huge street party that has been going on for almost one hundred years. There are never any real problems during the race so why make any changes? It’s ridiculous. I say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Alcohol, partial nudity and floats on wheels and otherwise are what the race is all about. I think Supervisor Mirkarimi needs to chill. I think it’s time city supervisors take care of the important matters and stop intruding on our freedoms.
You can read more here with links to some bay to breakers sites.

Bob St. Clair is known for his toughness on the field and raw meat. As a child he was given raw, warm liver, raw eggs and wheat germ as staples. He grew to love the food and as a result can eat raw meat without blinking an eye. The Hall of Famer standing at 6′9″ tall and weighing in at 270 lbs. was the tallest player in the NFL. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1953.
He attends all the Niner games and frequents the tail gate parties where he dares fans to take a bite of the raw meat they are barbecuing and if they accept the challenge he awards them with a Bob St. Clair 49er apron. He does this to support Mike Singletary as he calls “one of us” the tough, mean, macho man who can stomach that raw meat and like it. He’s a players - player and a true 49er legend. More in formation on Bob St. Clair can be found by clicking here.
His book “I’ll Take It Raw” can be found on Book Surge.

This video is not of the Niners but of our Head Coach Mike Singletary and The Chicago Bears back in the day performing the Superbowl shuffle song. It’s so cute, I couldn’t resist. I’m hoping that at some point in time we’ll have a 49er superbowl shuffle song with Singletary leading the pack. I hope the York/Debartolo organization keeps Singletary. He is a very valuable asset to the San Francisco 49ers and a fair and decent guy. I’m so glad he’s our coach.
We - meaning the 49ers annihilated the Rams yesterday by 35 to 16? I really don’t know because once we were at the 35 mark I knew we’d win and shut off the tube. A friend of mine was telling me that the Rams are the worst in the league. I don’t know that for certain because I don’t really follow it that closely but even so, a win is a win. Not to mention, we didn’t just beat them we ran all over them and won by a huge margin so that tells me we’re a good team.
I like Hill and he’s got a good eye and quick release on the ball. He also has alot of protection from the offensive line which JT never had. So, I don’t know if it’s the new coaching or the fact that the line rallies around Hill but whatever it is, it’s working. Plus our defense was awesome!!! I also like the fact that everyone is getting a chance to play and they are not just relying on Gore. All in all I was thrilled. Go Niners!!!

I just heard on the local news that the San Francisco 49ers are looking to hire or appoint Rice within their team. They did not specify as to what capacity but I’m thinking maybe quarterback?
Seriously though it should be interesting as to how this whole story unfolds. We’ll keep you updated.
